Radley College, one of the UK’s top boys boarding schools, wanted to launch a vision that united the hearts and minds of all alumni around a bold ambition.
One that would be the driving force behind their strategic plan, fundraising campaigns and brand differentiation.
We worked with the Warden, John Moule, to not only define the vision but establish a strategic framework below this. The vision was set around the idea of ‘global citizens’ and the three pillars below were – People, Place & Purpose.
This vision still needed an idea – an emotional center – based on what makes Radley unique, or more specifically what makes a Radlian unique. Through research and internal discussion ‘Finding greatness within’ was identified as the overriding idea. Around this a set of values, a mission and key message framework was established. These building blocks for the vision and the brand were also the same building blocks around which the fundraising campaigns were set in order to achieve their strategic goals.
This collective package (vision, big idea, pillars and fundraising plan) was then launched at a major event in London to current and past alumni. To bring the vision to life at this event and to establish a deeper emotional connection two videos were produced. One outlined the video the other established the link between the past and the future.
